What CFCL team can escape the fastest…or can any of us escape at all?!?!

Coach Kyle has been working with Novel Escape to create a CrossFit-style escape mission event at CFCL. We will be running the challenge sometime this year, but until we have the challenge ready to go, we thought it would be fun to pit 3-5 person, CFCL teams against each other to see who could escape the fastest in Novel Escape’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea escape room!

An escape room is a live-action puzzle game in which you and your friends collaboratively solve problems and complete challenges to accomplish a specified goal in a limited amount of time. (Don't worry, you aren't actually locked in the room, and you don't need any special skills or knowledge to play!)

Here’s how it will work…

CrossFitters are always up to a new and exciting challenge, so between the dates of February 1 and March 31, CFCL teams of 3-5 people will register and visit Novel Escape and attempt their 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Room. We will have a leaderboard with team’s names and times up at the gym to see how your team stacks up!

Inevitably, there will be some people that already have their teammates in mind, but for the majority of CFCL’ers who may be interested and could use some help finding teammates, we will have a Escape Room Leaderboard at the gym along with a way for people to communicate to look for teams to join. Don’t be shy! Participating in an escape room challenge, even with people you don’t know very well, is a ton a fun and help build stronger bonds within our community.

You can do this with your friends and family too! The teams of 3-5 people must have at least 1 CFCL member, but can include as many or as few other as you’d like!

The challenge is on!!!

Book your team’s challenge at https://www.novelescape.com/book-a-room and add your team to the whiteboard at CFCL.
