Welcome to CrossFit City Limits! If you’re visiting our site for the first time, chances are you’re ready to really, seriously, finally get in shape. Well, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve designed our training program to teach you how to make fitness a regular, enjoyable part of your life and get results – not just an occasional pit stop.
We believe that in order for you to make coming into our gym one of the best parts of your day, we need to help you identify your true personal goals and provide your coaching and support to help you create the life and body you’ve always wanted to have. The coaches at CrossFit City Limits were hand selected for their personal training talent. Typical group coaches simply act as cheerleaders as they motivate you and tell you what exercises to do. Our coaches are amazing personal trainers who, in a group setting, will motivate, but also have the one-on-one expertise and experience to help you at an extremely detailed, individual level to provide you exactly what you need. With the all of the benefits of group classes and personal coaches, our classes and/or personal programs will provide you the support and accountability to make your goals a reality.
CrossFit City Limits is a North Central Austin fitness community based around a constantly varied, high-intensity, functional workout program that is measurable and repeatable for consistently proven results. CrossFit City Limits mixes strength training, cardio, and flexibility exercises in an unlimited amount of variations to obtain the most efficient, all-around workout. All classes are led by experienced coaches so you improve your overall fitness: Strength, Endurance, Flexibility, Stamina, Coordination, Speed, Power, Accuracy, Balance, and Agility. You do not need to be “in shape” to start with us. All workouts will be modified to your current fitness level and restrictions, and actually, getting started with us right away is the fastest and smartest way to get the quickst results and build the proper foundation for a lifetime of fitness and health. Our expert coaches put a priority on teaching technique and correcting movement issues, allowing you to perform better and remain pain-free throughout your journey.
We understand that high-intensity, functional fitness may seem intimidating if you’ve never done it before, which is why we offer a free intro session to chat with you, introduce you to our gym and how we work out, and get a better sense of your goals and what you’re looking for. We then build your technique and confidence by providing optional foundation sessions or optional personal training sessions to be sure you are off to a solid start. Through the years, we have found this method to be incredibly effective in on-ramping new members. Walking through the doors for the first time is typically the hardest part of getting started, so just take that step and you’ll be on your way to a new you!
At CrossFit City Limits, we are more than just a place to workout. We are not like a typical gym. You will get to know your coaches and they will get to know your goals, why you are in the gym, and understand any factors in your real life that may impact your schedule or motivation. This individualized approach is what provides us the context we need to provide you the best individualized coaching possible. Our community supports everyone. We host community service events, happy hours, friendly gym competitions, play recreational sports, and other social, active outings to strengthen our relationship with the city and one another. Exercising with friends is much more enjoyable and allows you to push yourself to new limits, which is why the communal aspect of CrossFit is a key component to its effectiveness.
