It’s time to test our fitness!

The CFCL programming is designed to maximize results. Through a prioritization and linear program, we start with a hypertrophy cycle to grow muscle and build our foundation of technique and general fitness. Then, we move into a strength cycle where we strengthen the new muscle from the hypertrophy cycle and start getting a little more specific with our exercises. We then finish with a peaking phase where prepare and test new maxes, all culminating with our Benchmark Week!

All of the regular classes at CFCL during our benchmark week are classic CrossFit and will test all aspects of overall fitness along with the skills and mobility we’ve been working on. It’s a fun week to realize all the progress we’ve made! We highly recommend taking notes and recording scores from the workout this week, so we have “Benchmarks” to re-test in the future. It’s not you vs everyone on instagram…it’s you vs you!
