CrossFit City Limits is an Austin fitness community based around a general workout program, CrossFit. CrossFit focuses on increasing work capacity across broad time and modal domains and defines itself as that which optimizes fitness (constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high intensity). CrossFit is also the community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. In fact, the communal aspect of CrossFit is a key component of why it’s so effective. This workout program is designed to achieve a wide variety of fitness and health goals for all types of people. Workouts are centered around gymnastics, power lifting, olympic weightlifting, mobility, and cardio exercises. Our CrossFit classes are capped at 20 people or less, allowing members to experience the advantages of small group personal training. All classes are held in our 7,500 sq ft facility, equipped with showers.
Workouts are based around functional movements, which translate into real world strength and true fitness. Performing each workout at high intensity maximizes the benefits of each session, allows for training across all three metabolic pathways, and for the most efficient use of your time.
